Hi, I'm Claire.
I'm a videographer, editor, animator, and production manager. Put simply, I tell stories through a lens and a keyboard.
I got my feet wet with Final Cut Express in my high school news class. Since then, I've filtered through Avid and FCP7 and FCPX, finally landing on Premiere Pro. I'm happy to say I've moved on from shooting on a DVCAM ENG camera to 4K DSLRs and cinema cameras. Thank you, Moore's Law.
I'm currently an Associate Design Director at Publicis Sapient in Arlington, VA, where I produce, shoot, edit, and animate videos for the public health sector. I lead multiple video productions simultaneously, ensuring videos are done on time and on budget. I also manage and mentor other creatives, from shooters and editors to visual designers and copywriters.
In my previous role as Senior Video Producer for TIA NOW, I filled a similar one-man-band role, shooting and editing studio shows, live event coverage, and documentaries for the tech sector.
Storytelling and problem-solving go hand-in-hand in this industry, and I adore coming to work every day able to take on these challenges.
When I'm not behind the camera or in front of the computer, you'll find me walking through trails and parks in Northern Virginia, listening to podcasts, reading some nonfiction or sci-fi, or watching a documentary.
