This video was my first, deep foray into 2D animation. It covers the basics of what the Sisters Together program provides.
I initially purchased a character pack from Envato for a start with the characters. I quickly realized I'd need a wider diversity of colors, shapes, and sizes for the characters, which the pack didn't provide. No character packs do.
I spent about 8-10 weeks breaking the character pack apart and customizing the characters myself inside AE, particularly focused on creating realistic body shapes and hair styles that represent Black women.
